Dinner & Movie Night
August 21st is our next dinner and movie night. The dinner theme is American Favorites, and the movie is "The Great Awakening". The potluck dinner begins at 6 p.m. and the movie starts at 7 p.m.
OCC Items - Buy Now & Save
We encourage you to take advantage of back-to-school sales to gather Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts, such as pens, pencils and sharpeners, rulers, solar calculators, colored pencils and noteboooks that will fit a shoebox.
Operation Christmas Child Fundraiser Potluck and Raffle
Wednesday evening, August 19th you'll be able to preview more of the raffle items for the OCC Raffle being held Sunday, August 23rd after the church service. Bring something to share for the potluck lunch and join in the fun. If you have any nice items to donate for the raffle, contact Leigh McClung or Kathy Harris.
Back to School Backpack Giveaway Outreach
The event will be August 29th at the Hoquiam Water Park. Instead of collecting items, this year we are asking for funds towards the purchase of prepacked backpacks. There will be a meeting at Harbor Assembly of God at 6:00 p.m. on August 23rd for prayer and training for doing outreach surveys. Please sign up in the foyer if you are interested in helping with the event on the 29th: cooking, handing out backpacks, face painting, balloon making, etc.

Parents
We encourage you to take children 6th grade and under to one of the appropriate Sunday school classes, designed to meet their spiritual needs and understanding. We ask that the same person sign-in and sign-out your children. Youth Service (7th-12th grade) is held at 7 p.m. Wednesday night, where they enjoy their own worship & teaching.
If it’s necessary to bring small children into the service, we ask that you please sit in the back.
You can care for your children and view a live feed of the sermon in the nursery or in the Lobby, if needed.
